Common questions
Can you repair just a small area?
Yes. Whether it’s a single crack, a hole, or a patch left behind by a plumber or electrician, we repair only the damaged part and blend it into the rest of the wall or ceiling, so you don’t need the whole wall or room redone. Small jobs and bigger ones are both welcome.
Can you just look at the room and sort whatever it needs?
Yes. You don’t need to know exactly what needs doing, and we often spot things you haven’t noticed. We’ll go round the room, check the walls and ceilings, and repair whatever needs it, so the surface is right before any paint goes on. The aim is a room that looks properly finished, not old problems with a fresh coat of paint over the top.
Can you build a new internal or false wall?
Yes. We build the timber frame, cover it with plasterboard, then finish it smooth and flat, ready for painting. Need sockets or lighting in it? We can arrange the electrics too.
Can you get a room looking perfect?
If that’s what you want, yes. We’re extremely fussy about our finish and we notice things most people never would. For the highest standard, we’re happy to bring out an inspection light and check every wall and ceiling until it’s right, so you have complete peace of mind.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the job, but most can be done within a day. Where a second visit is needed, we’ll pop back once it’s dry and ready to sand and paint. We’ll let you know what to expect when we quote.
Will you make a mess?
We do everything we can not to. We sand with dust extraction, so we’re confident most of the dust, if not all of it, is taken away before it spreads. We also tidy up before we leave.
